CHARLOTTE X BIRCHBOX: KOREAN BEAUTY FEATURED BOX

I love what  Birchbox  stands for: discovering new beauty brands and products, curated just for you on a monthly basis. It's like a magazine subscription but without the trip to the store to buy all the things you read about inside it—the products come to you! Who  wouldn't  want deluxe beauty samples that you can explore and test yourself before committing to the full size? It's a paradise for both beauty junkies and beauty newbies alike! Birchbox's philosophy meshes perfectly with my goal as chief curator of Soko Glam—I also love introducing you to what's new and exciting in the world of K-beauty through hand-picked and tested items on Soko Glam, coupled with in-depth reviews explaining why I fell in love with the products. I was thrilled to team up with Birchbox to curate their very special exclusive guest editor box dedicated to K-beauty, the  ON TREND: KOREAN BEAUTY BOX . I'm excited that after months of working with the ...

Kylie Jenner Went on the Sephora Haul of Your Dreams

To the tune of $1,185. When we think of the most beauty-obsessed celebrities, some of the first people to come to mind are, well, basically the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan. There's a Kardashian Beauty collection. Kylie Jenner has her Lip Kits. Kendall is the face of Estée Edit . And their glam squad? Well, they are almost as famous as they are. And if you had any doubts about Kylie's beauty obsession, trust us, she's got a thing for product. We can't even imagine what her beauty closet looks like... RELATED: We're So Here for Bella Thorne's Colorful New Hairstyle Thankfully, Kylie shared the results of her Sephora haul yesterday on her Snapchat, giving us all the opportunity to see how she shops. She spent a cool $1,185 (nbd) and got some  seriously  killer products. The main product in Kylie's haul was blush—four individual compacts (three Sephora brand items and one Too Faced formula)  plus  a blush palette. For those of you who love B...

9 key issues affecting girls and women around the world

Flickr: sandeepachetan I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t always “get” the women in my life quite like I do my male friends and relatives—just ask my girlfriend, who is probably convinced I was raised by a pack of wolves considering how oblivious I am half the time. (In my defense,  there  are  about  a million  articles out there attempting to decode what girls "really mean," so there's no way I'm alone in this.)   To be perfectly honest, you could probably say the same about my grasp on issues relating to girls and women in international development. This is a problem seeing as the  theme of the month  here at Global Citizen is supporting girls and women around the world. In an effort to remedy my glaring cluelessness in time for Girls & Women Month, I consulted my more knowledgeable colleagues and combed the Web to put together this  list of 9 key issues affecting girls ...

YESSTYLE HAUL .. REVIEW

I know what you're thinking...haul post? Again?! Yes - another haul post. I shopped with  YesStyle  earlier this year but I wasn't able to make a blog post about it. It was just basically beauty products that were on sale, but this is the first time I'm ordering other stuff and clothes included (YES, clothes...risky, I know).  An overview of all the stuff I got on this order. This is probably  my most stressful order  (yet) from all my online purchases combined. I do a lot of online shopping because it's convenient and that means I won't have to deal with people HAHAHA and most of my online purchases are easy as pie - but this one gave me a HUGE headache. I know that ordering from YesStyle is a hit or miss thing - and in this post I'm gonna rate the items I got and tell you if it's worth it to buy it or it's better to trash it. Dayuuum I made a rhyme! Anyways, Imma tell you all about it later - let's jump right to the haul! * dun dun ...
