I know what you're thinking...haul post? Again?! Yes - another haul post. I shopped with YesStyle earlier this year but I wasn't able to make a blog post about it. It was just basically beauty products that were on sale, but this is the first time I'm ordering other stuff and clothes included (YES, clothes...risky, I know).
An overview of all the stuff I got on this order.
This is probably my most stressful order (yet) from all my online purchases combined. I do a lot of online shopping because it's convenient and that means I won't have to deal with people HAHAHA and most of my online purchases are easy as pie - but this one gave me a HUGE headache. I know that ordering from YesStyle is a hit or miss thing - and in this post I'm gonna rate the items I got and tell you if it's worth it to buy it or it's better to trash it. Dayuuum I made a rhyme! Anyways, Imma tell you all about it later - let's jump right to the haul!

#1: First I need coffee T-shirt in White (Free Size) from Whitney's Shop
I was pretty confident with ordering this because there has been a lot of good feedback from the reviews on people who bought this item before - and I was not disappointed at all! BUT I was hoping for the material to be a bit thicker because I think it's a bit thinner than expected - but all is well...all is good! As you can see, it's not too thin (but it is a bit thin...it's not just see through) and the material is soft. I like it! The shirt has only 2 colors - black and white - and I got it in white (obviously).
Is it a HIT or MISS?
Definitely a HIT. I like it and for the price I think it's okay. On the site's pictures it looked baggy and I was hoping it would be baggy on me because I like wearing loose and baggy clothes - but it wasn't as baggy as I hope it would be...but it still fits, so...okay.
Price: I got it for 324.09 PHP only but it's currently priced at 425.08 PHP

#2: Print T-shirt dress from Melon Juice (Free Size)
I honestly wasn't really confident with ordering this one because first of all, it didn't have any buyer reviews. Second is that most of the other reviews on all their other products are just so-so. BUT BUT BUT! I found it really cute - like super duper cute and I was thinking I can't really find any other dress that looks like this. And on the photos it looked really baggy and cute so I got it...only to find out that it looks like sleepwear on me wtf. The material is so-so...also on the thin side. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker than the T-shirt I got from Whitney's shop, but I was wrong. Oh well.
Is it a HIT or MISS?
It's a MISS for me. I like the color and print and everything - but for the material used and for the price it's being sold? Nope...just a huge nope for me. They probably use really short people as models for their clothes because on all the photos they posted it looked baggy and cute BUT IT IS NOT BAGGY IN REAL LIFE.
Price: I got it for 447.69 only but it's currently priced at 472.82 PHP

#3: Wooden Animal Phone Stand (Totoro)
This item is on their Lifestyle category, and I got it because it's cute, wooden and well...it's Totoro so enough said. I know there's probably a whole lot of other cellphone stand but I liked this one because it's simple and if it gets dusty I can just wipe it off or something. Or probably repaint it. But I like the minimalist touch to it so...yeah, it'll stay that way.
Is it a HIT or MISS?
It's a hit. It looks the same as it does on the pictures, so I'm really okay with this.

#3: Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Perfume Bar
This item is on their beauty category. I wanted to get this from Althea but I saw that it was cheaper at YesStyle - so I got it from YesStyle instead. I got this because my bottle of body mist is too big to fit on a small bag - and I usually carry around a medium sized Neo just for that said bottle of body mist. I like this one - it has a light, baby powder scent. I haven't used this one yet and I hope it's as good as the reviews said it is.
Is it a HIT or MISS?
Definitely a HIT! It's 100% authentic, it's small and cheaper when I got it.

#5: Faux Leather Strap Watch
This item is from their accessories category. I thought it would look like a cheap watch, but it looks really good in person! I wanted to get a cute leather watch like this one and I've seen a lot of good reviews about this product so I got it! It has 2 sizes - the large and the small one. I got the watch in small and it fits perfectly on my arm!
Is it a HIT or MISS?
Definitely a HIT! I'm really happy with the watch and from the price I got it for, I really think it's worth it!

#6: Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder
This item is on their beauty category. I got 2 of these because I thought (and believed) that this would arrive earlier than my Althea parcel - but boy was I wrong. We don't have Etude House from where I live, so just in case I'll run out of it I already purchased 2 of these.
Is it a HIT or MISS?
It's definitely a hit. It's also 100% authentic. Actually, I don't really have a problem with ordering beauty products from them because I trust that they sell 100% authentic beauty products, I just worry with the clothes.

By the way, for people who don't know what YesStyle is - YesStyle is an online store based in Hong Kong. They sell Chinese, Korean and Japanese stuff that ranges from fashion items to beauty products, and a whole lot of other stuff. You can check out their website at www.yesstyle.com.
And that's it for my YesStyle haul! What gave me a headache was that:
- I had to wait a looooong time for the parcel to arrive. The parcel arrived at Manila LAST JULY 17. And I only got it today. If I had not sent an email to DHL I don't know when it would arrive...or if it would arrive AT ALL.
- I had to pay CUSTOMS TAX WTF. All my previous orders from them were smooth af - they delivered straight to my door but this time I had to pay for 880 PHP for my parcel to be released. The whole box costs 2,398 PHP (shipping was free) and I had to pay 880 PHP for the customs tax which I think is a bit tad expensive just for a few items.
It pissed me off. Like it really pissed me off big time. I was looking forward to getting everything and I got these because they were cheap...and the customs tax just ruined my excitement. They do deliver door to door but this time I went to their office here in my city because I wanted to know how the customs tax reached that huge amount. Anyways, I suggest that if you do order from YesStyle, keep your order below 2,000 PHP. The last time I ordered from them, my total bill was 1,900 something and I didn't get charged with customs tax. I read somewhere before (I honestly forgot where) that if you want your items to go through customs smoothly without having to pay for taxes, the total charge of items should not exceed 2,000 PHP. Well, I should have listened to that advice but what's done is done...so, yeah.
I'm probably not gonna order stuff from YesStyle ever again after this.
I have no problems with the shipping fees and everything because they offer free shipping on purchases that costs 1,800 PHP and above - the waiting game for the parcel killed the experience for me. They shipped the parcel July 14, 2016 and I ordered this way back July 5, 2016. Considering the fact that Hong Kong is just near the Philippines and that my previous orders didn't take this long, the waiting time really disappointed me.
Also, the declared cost of items on my parcel was only $19.00 - and I had to pay $18.67 for customs tax. I ordered online because they were cheaper and I was hoping to save more moolah from buying online but the customs tax just ruined it. I know I've mentioned customs tax ruining the experience for me countless times, but I just cannot stress it enough. IT. HAS. RUINED. EVERYTHING.
Anyways, I should have seen this coming...HAHAHA maybe this is karma for me because I'm too much of a cheapskate.
Anyways, this is how the parcel looked like before I opened it.
The box is inside the DHL plastic something something (I don't know what they're called, honestly). The box inside is not bubble wrapped, but the box was intact - no dents, no anything.
This is how the box looks like inside - just a plain normal box, covered in packing tape. HAHAHAHAHA I probably got so used to shopping with Althea that I got used to seeing a cute pink box covered in bubble tape.
When you open the box there's a folded paper inside which states your shipping list and shipping address and the likes. I found it weird how on the invoice paper there was a sample stated in it (which indicates that there's supposed to be a sample item inside) but when I opened the parcel there was nothing. NOTHING at all. NADA, ZILCH, NOTHING. I got my hopes up for nothing, too.
So this is how it looked like when I opened the parcel and placed them to look beautiful for picture taking HAHAHAHA wtf. Anyways, the other smaller items were placed inside bubble wraps (YAAAAAY!) and the clothes were inside plastic bags.
The items that arrived are in good condition. There's nothing missing except the free sample I was hoping on getting *cries in Mandarin*.
So yeah, that's it for my YesStyle haul and review. So if you have plans on ordering from YesStyle, put this few tips in mind:
- Order stuff that has a LOT of good feedback with it.
- Never order stuff that does not have even 1 review on it.
- Check on the availability of the item first - if it says item ships in 24 hours, that means you wouldn't have to wait long for it for them to pack and ship it to you.
- If you're ordering clothes, check on the shop/merchant's items first and see if a lot of people has ordered from them.
- They give out daily free gifts, so always remember to click on daily free gifts to add it to your shopping cart. They're 100% free!
ALSO, just order from them if you're 100% sure of your purchase. I honestly think they're somehow a bit overpriced, although I do admit most items I got from them are cheap (it's because I only wait for huge sales before shopping HAHAHAHA). Oh, and if you're prepared and willing to pay for EXPENSIVE A** CUSTOMS TAX.
